Lo-Fi Legend R. Stevie Moore Continues World Tour in 2012

After creating over 400 brilliant albums and hundreds of music videos from his own bedroom studio, lo-fi luminary R. STEVIE MOORE is on an unstoppable tour of the U.S. and Europe backed by bad boy Brooklyn band Tropical Ooze. Together, they’ve whittled down a solid set list from 1,000s of songs to deliver a stunning live show that’s as eclectic and unpredictable as the artist’s career.

In the last year, the world has finally recognized the magnitude of R. Stevie Moore’s influence, personality and opus. Moore hit the cover of UK music mag, The Wire, for their June 2012 issue, and released a massive collection of duets with weird-pop superstar Ariel Pink titled Klu Klux Glam. Picadilly Records released Lo Fi Hi Fives… A Kind of Best of, which The Guardian called “a terrific compilation” of “real treasures.”

The “godfather” of home recording was always ahead of his time, but audiences are catching up, bringing long overdue recognition to this singular, unapologetic giant of music.
